Our curriculum includes:
- Digital literacy and effective use of software.
- Programming and computational thinking using age-appropriate tools such as Scratch.
- Online safety education embedded throughout the curriculum.
- Real-world contexts and cross-curricular applications.
- A balance of teacher-led, guided and independent learning activities.
- Opportunities for challenge and support to meet the needs of all learners.
Impact
By the end of Year 6, pupils will:
- Be confident and responsible users of technology.
- Demonstrate secure understanding of key computing concepts.
- Use computational thinking to solve problems and create programs.
- Understand how to stay safe online.
- Apply their digital skills across a range of contexts.
Pupils leave Mundy well prepared for secondary education and life in an increasingly digital society.
