HEAT WAVE INFORMATION

Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to reassure you that during the current heat wave, the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children remains our top priority.
We are taking a range of measures to help keep everyone comfortable and safe in the hot weather. These include:

Keeping rooms well-ventilated by opening windows and using fans
Using a designated cool room to provide a space for children to stay out of the sunshine when needed
Ensuring children have access to cool, shaded areas, including time under trees and within our marquee
Encouraging regular drinking of water to maintain good hydration
Supporting the use of sun hats and applying sunscreen as needed
Adjusting activities and routines throughout the day in response to the temperature

We are continuously monitoring the weather conditions and will adapt our approach as needed to ensure we provide a safe and supportive environment for all children.
Please feel reassured that we are doing everything possible to keep the children cool, comfortable
