MJS - Our Creative Curriculum

Over the course of an academic year we work on a range of different topics. Our aim is to inspire all of our children; offering them activities that are thought-provoking, challenging but attainable, and rewarding. An effective creative curriculum encourages children to make powerful and meaningful links with the world in which they live. Our goal is to help all our children experience ‘Awe and Wonder’ in their learning journey through Mundy Junior School.

There is a two-year rolling cycle, as our children work in mixed year groups. Each term has a Y34 and Y56 topic, and English and Guided Reading learning is linked to these themes.
