Litter
Litter Less
We keep a regular eye on any litter in the school grounds. We have an issue as the school is surrounded by public land and we get a lot of wind blown litter.
We recently looked at our outdoor bins and found that 2 of them were not adequate and removed them.
One of our regular jobs is to gather all the leaves, from the 600 trees we have on site, which we put in the wildlife area to enrich the area.
Beech Walk runs down the length of the school grounds. It is used by children coming to school, dog walkers and the rest of the community.
We try and keep it clean.

We are trying to clean up Beech Walk. Our first session did the bottom bit. We picked a bin bag of rubbish that was lying around and caught in the hedge. The leaves and soil that we swept up has gone in the school compost bins.
