Collective Worship
Collective Worship is an important part of the school day, taking time to come together and reflect as a whole school community.
All schools are required by law to have a daily act of collective worship. In a church school this should be Christian and reflect the Anglican nature of the school. Many schools work with their local church and vicar to plan and deliver collective worship.
In a church school, collective worship should be invitational, inclusive and inspiring.
Be Caring: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
Be Responsible: "Arise! For this matter is your responsibility, but we will be with you; be courageous and act." Ezra 10:4
Our School Prayer
Oh Lord,
Bless this school,
That working together and playing together,
We may learn to serve you and to serve one another,
For Jesus' sake.
Amen
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father in heaven
Hallowed be your name
Your kingdom come, your will be done
On Earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily bread
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
From the kingdom, the power and the glory
Are yours,
Now and for ever.
Amen
